The day after KLM retired their last Fokker 50s, JetFlix TV creator Henry Tenby flew on a KLM Embraer 175 from Amsterdam to Frankfurt, the date was November 1, 2017. He was in Amsterdam to document the finals days of KLM Fokker 70 operations and this was the flight after this historic visit.

Embraer 175s are the smallest aircraft in the KLM fleet and are also known as “Cityhoppers.” The aircraft are mostly used for flights to destinations within Europe. Examples are Turin, Graz, and Stuttgart, depending on the season. The Embraers, unlike the other aircraft in the KLM fleet, are not named.

The flight from Amsterdam to Frankfurt is typical of stage lengths operated by the Embraer 175s and Henry Tenby found this to be an extremely comfortable aircraft.
