Scenic Channel Islands Air Tour by Britt Norman Trislander

Details

JetFlix TV videographer Chris Mak visited the Channel Islands in the summer of 2013 to spend a very splendid day island hopping with Aurigny and their fabulous Britt Norman Trislander commuter aircraft. The Trislanders have since been retired with Aurigny but for several decades they were fixtures in Channel Islands offering reliable, safe inter-island transport for locals and tourists a like.

In the video we travel with Chris (on the Trislanders) on three flights, specifically Jersey to Alderney, Alderney to Guernsey (which was an empty leg with just Chris and the pilot), and then Guernsey back to Jersey. Chris couldn’t have asked for a better day as the crystal blue skies and calm flying conditions made for a very picturesque aerial tour of these beautiful little islands.

The Aurigny website still shows three Trislanders in service, but we believe their website has possibly not been updated. As the last Trislander flights were publicized to have been operated a few years ago. Whatever the case, Trislander flights are not exactly easy to get, and with thanks to Chris Mak, we are able to share a very interesting and wonderful film showing just how beautiful this region of world is for both aviation fans, and scenic world travellers. Sit back, relax, and soak up the awesome views!
