FlyVLM Fokker 50 Antwerp – London City Re-Launch 3 Part video series now on JetFlix TV

FlyVLM Fokker 50 Re-Launch London City video Part 1

On October 30, 2017, Antwerp based FlyVLM Airlines re-launched their famous route between London City airport and Antwerp, Belgium. In recent years the route was operated by Cityjet and the BAe RJ aircraft. But the jet did not prove to economically viable on the route, and Cityjet suspended their service. This opening in the market provided the perfect opportunity for FlyVLM to re-assert their presence on the route which they became famous for during the 2000s.

FlyVLM organized a media event at Antwerp airport on the morning of October 30, 2017, and Henry Tenby of JetFlix TV was invited to attend to document the proceedings for presentation on the JetFLix TV aviation streaming service. As such, we are very pleased to announce the release of our three part mini series on the first day of FlyVLM Fokker 50 service on the re-launched London City route.

The three videos show the morning media proceedings at Antwerp Airport, during which speeches were given by key managers of the airline explaining the new service. We then joined the mid day Fokker 50 flight from Antwerp over the London City airport, and filmed the flight across and back, featuring the taxi, take-off, inflight, cabin presentations and much more. For anyone interested in Fokker’s classic F50 commuter aircraft and airline service launches, this three part video series will be of interest.

Lastly, we would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to the management at FlyVLM Airlines for their kind assistance in allowing us access to film their London City re-launch.
