The Royal Canadian Air Force operated a colourful and varied fleet of defence aircraft during the hey days of the 1960s. Canadian was and still is a major partner in the North American Air Defence NORAD agreement that protects our airspace from aggressive incursions by unfriendly foes.
In the 1960s the McDonnell CF-101 Voodoo was the primary fighter interceptor of the RCAF that performed Canada’s NORAD airspace defence. Water and coastal based defence was performed by CS2 Tracker and SP2 Lockheed Neptune aircraft. All of these fabulous aircraft and their roles within the RCAF are presented in this fascinating film, narrated by JetFlix founder Henry Tenby.
