Brooklands Aviation Museum BAC One Eleven and Concorde – Part 5
Details
Part 5 of a 5 Part Video Series:
In this video, JetFlix TV founder Henry Tenby takes us along for fully immersive tours on the BAC One Eleven and Concorde, both being long term residents at the Brooklands Aviation Museum on Weybridge, Surrey.
As is standard with all the airliners on display at Brooklands, it is a very nice touch that museum visitors are welcome to go on board each aircraft to tour the cabin and cockipt areas. And the BAC One Eleven and Concorde are no exception.
Both aircraft are not to be missed and unlike the Concorde which is on display at the Technik Museum in Germany, the Concorde at Brooklands is not wrapped in heavy plastic and visitors to the aircraft can actually sit in the real seats in the forward cabin section whilst enjoying an historic archival film that does a very good job simulating what a ride in Concorde must have been like, complete with vibrating seats!
