Buffalo Airways Lockheed L-188 Electra visit to Vancouver 2021

Reported by Henry Tenby: Back in the mid 1980s NWT Air used to operate their L-188 Electra aircraft into Vancouver on a regular basis on the trans Con cargo run called Black Label. So the last time I saw a Lockheed L-188 Electra in Vancouver was mid 1980s, that was 35 years ago! Yesterday Buffalo Airways brought their L-188 into Vancouver and a cargo haul and it was my first L-188 spotting since then. It brought back some very nice memories!

Great video footage of the Electra L-188. Don’t see many of these at all anymore unless you’re lucky enough to catch one of the few remaining P-3 Orion’s flying. Great job, Henry.
Thank you James, for me it was the spotting event of the past few years. I put a lot of effort to make sure I could capture the Electra visits as much as I could.
