In February of 2026, in the Netherlands, JetFlix founder Henry Tenby had a special opportunity to visit an incredible aviation restoration project at Lelystad Airport. A dedicated group of volunteers is working to bring a rare Fokker F27 back to flying condition — a classic propliner that has almost disappeared from the skies. Originally operated by the U.S. Army, this aircraft is now being carefully restored with the goal of returning it to the air for future generations to experience at airshows and aviation events. With only a handful of F27 aircraft remaining worldwide, this is a truly unique and inspiring project for aviation enthusiasts.
