Details

At JetFlix TV we are always looking for old long lost and forgotten 16mm cine movies films of airline and aviation topics so that we can digitize them and present them to our viewers. The idea is to preserve the images digitally so they can be enjoyed for generations to come. This small collection of 16mm film footage is one such example. JetFlix TV creator Henry Tenby provides a running commentary on the footage presented to the best of his abilities. We hope you enjoy the somewhat random walk down memory row!

    A lot of fun.
Cincinnati is in the SW corner of Ohio, on the Ohio River.
Its airport is across the river in Kentucky.

That is an amazing bit of geography trivia, I had no idea that Cincinnati airport is in Kentucky. But now I know .. all because of this 70 year old movie clip! Thank you Dieter.

Great clips! The Lufthansa Connie is definitely at Chicago Midway’s original municipal terminal renamed the South Terminal which was used for International flights. I grew up next to MDW and the hangars in background are a dead giveaway it’s Chicago Midway.
