British Overseas Airways Corporation 1950s Color Films:

In the 1950’s, two leading airlines named as, Pan American and BOAC Airways provide overseas services. They provide overseas services throughout the World War II. BOAC stands for British Overseas Airways Corporation. Most of the public travelling to intercontinental done through BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation 1950s).

The film didn’t concentrate on the new Douglas DC-7 Seven Seas. 2nd British Overseas Airways Corporation 1950s Film:

The film shot on their visit to Jamaica on BOAC Boeing Stratocruiser Canopus G-AKGK. Later, the film referred to as “the fairest jewel of the British Crown”.

3rd and The Final British Overseas Airways Corporation 1950s Film:

The final 1950s film named as “Majesty in the Air”. This film features the following aircraft:

  • BOAC Hermes,
  • Constellation,
  • Britannia
  • Stratocruiser

This film informs of BOAC’s capabilities as a leading world airline and it presents information about visiting the country in the 1950s, as Britain had much to offer the tourist back then as it can offer the tourist of today.
