FlyVLM Fokker 50 Re-Launch London City Airport Service – Part 3

Details

This film is the final chapter in the three part FlyVLM Re-Launch to London City mini series. JetFlix TV was invited by Fly VLM to attend the media event to mark their first day of re launched operations on the route with their reliable and efficient Fokker 50 aircraft.

The first two chapters of this film series featured the pre flight ceremonies at Antwerp airport and our flying on the aircraft from Antwerp across the English Channel to London City airport, situated in the heart of London’s financial centre.

This final instalment film features the return flight on the FlyVLM Fokker 50 from London City airport to Antwerp, Belgium. Although it was pitch black and not a whole lot could be seen during the runway take-off and landing, we do still get a nice feel for riding the Fokker 50 at night, and the city lights below of London and Antwerp still make for nice viewing.

This entire series was filmed and produced by JetFlix TV founder Henry Tenby. We would like to take this opportunity to thank FlyVLM for their kind hospitality in welcoming us to attend this very special day, and we wish them all the very best of luck as they re-establish their Fokker 50 operation on key business routes from their Antwerp base.

What a great view of London City Airport at take off. Really fantastic view of London on climb out. The view of Antwerp really good, too. I always did like flying at night. A very different experience. Great job, Henry.

Thank you James! It was a very nice memory this trip for FlyVLM’s relaunch of service. Sadly, the airline closed down a few months ago. The news came as a shock to me as I expected they would do quite well as they were previously well established in the market. It was a very convenient way to get from London over the Belgium. The night flight was different and flying over the lights of London at fairly low level was a first for me. I am glad you enjoyed this video.
