Most of the human calculations and intervention from 1960’s will now be almost or all computer automated, humans replaced by machines at every opportunity to save on costs.
It is indeed interesting that computers have replaced humans in much of the flight planning processes over the past 50 years. It seems the track records for computers is pretty good given how safe aviation travel is today.
